Intern
OVERVIEW:
Amicon Management is seeking young professionals for our Owner Representation division. This is an exciting position which will expose you to South Florida’s highest level projects including all of the intricacies and stakeholders of the construction, real estate development and delivery process. Projects range from hospitality, mixed use and luxury residential. Currently, Amicon is managing over $1B in construction and real estate assets.
In this role, you’ll learn directly from project managers, seeing your classroom experience come to life and make major contributions to our project teams. Many of our valued team members have diverse backgrounds outside of real estate that include finance, psychology and sports. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid interest in pursuing career in Construction/Project Management required
- Current Junior or Senior level status; pursuing Bachelor’s degree (Preferably architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of project management software. Willingness to test and implement new technologies as they become
Construction Project Manager
OVERVIEW:
Amicon Management is seeking an Project Manager to provide lead the strategic and day-to-day direction of assigned industry projects. This is an exciting position which will expose you to South Florida’s highest-level projects including all of the intricacies and stakeholders of the construction, real estate development and delivery process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and direct day-to-day coordination of project deliverables
- Delegate and oversee responsibilities to team members of assigned projects;
- Direct daily client communication;
- Construction Administration (managing RFI’s, Submittals, CO’s, etc.);
- Review of drawings for completeness and best practices;
- Review and assess consulting scheduling and agreements (construction, design);
- Responsible for purchase orders, budget adherence and all project-related costs
- Manage and analyze direct and indirect cost budget;
- Responsible for construction schedule adherence;
- Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction, review contractors’ requisitions for payment and recommend the release of construction funds;
- Observe general compliance of as-built conditions with the contract drawings and specifications;
- Review construction schedules, trade payment breakdowns, job cost reports, and payment requisitions;
- Maintain high level of vendor contact and communication;
- Manage multiple projects;
- Approve and send out weekly project status reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field;
- At least 5+ years of experience in construction administration, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar experience;
- Knowledge of the local permitting process and construction delivery methods and agreements;
- Familiarity with construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types;
- Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized;
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and MS Project
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
Assistant Project Manager

Amicon Management is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide support to the project management team. This is an exciting position which will expose you to South Florida’s highest-level projects including all of the intricacies and stakeholders of the construction, real estate development and delivery process.

- Review and assess consulting scheduling and agreements (construction, design);
- Assist project manager in analysis of direct and indirect cost budget;
- Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction, review contractors’ requisitions for payment and recommend the release of construction funds as directed and approved by project manager;
- Observe general compliance of as-built conditions with the contract drawings and specifications;
- Review construction schedules, trade payment breakdowns, job cost reports, and payment requisitions;

- Prepare weekly project status reports for project manager approval.
